Yeah! My friend Paui just gave birth to a bouncing baby boy (yeaaaaahhhh booooiiii!).

Woohoo! Ninang na naman ako! Aylavet! hehehe.Congrats Paui and Roy. I swear i am up to no good... Haha! Just messing! I promise I'll be a good ninang. Yahoo! I already have 6 inaanaks and still counting. :) Friends, keep 'em coming... :) Babies are so cute... Tsaka blessing sila...

Although, on a personal note, I am quite scared to have kids of my own. Scared I'd turn out to be a bad mom.

Why?
Two things...

One, I might end up being an Uber Cool Mom, hence, raising my kids with the thinking na barkada lang nila ako. They might end up being alcoholics, potheads or having kids with a whole bunch of partners. And if the time would come they would realize what went wrong with their lives, they might think na ako may kasalanan ng lahat kasi super pa-cool ako, hence, they would hate me forever.

Two, I might end up being this hypochondriac, control freakazoid of a mom na bawat decision ng buhay ng mga anak ko ay pinapakialaman. Refer to imaginary lines below...

Was really looking forward to next week. For the longest time, Someone and I had this plan. I was supposed to go to his area and observe the holy week. Unfortunately, he was tasked to do something for a couple of weeks and a few days straight. Hence, dashed hope. I was hoping so much I could see him again. Not that I am so utterly dependent on him. It's just that, there seems to be a certain kind of peace and calm being in the presence of the one you love.

For the past few weeks now, I've been pleading Someone to please come home because I haven't seen him for 4 months already. Yet, everytime I ask him, his answer would be "Malapit na" or "Next time na." I hate to admit it, pero medyo nalungkot ako. Medyo nagisip na unfair. Why can't he come home unlike some of his batchmates na every other week ata umuuwi. As if naman gusto ko lang sya pauwiin for nothing. Eh medyo lang naman malaki problema namin hence the need to be with each other to figure things out.

This morning, I had my usual wake up call ni Someone. Over the course of our conversation, Someone and I cried together.

Yup.

For those of you who know me, you know I'm not a crier, right? Lalo na si Someone....

But for some strange reason, we did. Actually, he was the first one who cried. He did so while saying how much he misses me, he loves me, sorry for the hardships and all...

I felt my heart melt. Seems like all things bottled up inside were released.

Akala ko ako lang umiiyak sa hirap ng buhay. Hindi pala, affected din pala sya.

Akala ko kaya nya ako tiisin. Hindi pala. Namimiss nya pala ako...

Akala ko bato sya. Hindi pala. He showed me concern and love in its purest form.

And during that time when two people who love each other fiercely cried tears of joy and sorrow simultaneously, the gods looking down may have felt it and pitied them. Such was the intensity of that moment.

Someone told me that we have faced a lot of happy and sad times. These trials are nothing yet. There'll be more to come. We've been through a lot. This relationship has been tested and proven. It will still be challenged in the future.
